Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “KVKK”), the Provider identified above is the data controller for personal data processed on the Wall Street Degens platform.

2. Platform and Service

Wall Street Degens provides daily market news, newsletters, market summaries, research notes, data-driven analysis and digital content on the platform under a monthly subscription. Content is for general information only and is not investment advisory or personalised investment advice.

3. Categories of Personal Data Processed

Identity, contact, membership and customer transaction, payment transaction, transaction security, usage/preference, request/complaint and legal transaction data may be processed. Sensitive card data such as card number and CVV are not stored by the Provider; payment is completed through the infrastructure of the licensed payment institution used.

4. Purposes of Processing

Data are processed to create and secure the membership account, perform the monthly subscription, deliver daily newsletters and content, complete collection/billing/refund processes, provide support, ensure information security, improve the service and meet legal obligations. Commercial marketing messages are based, where required, on separately obtained communication consent.

5. Legal Grounds

Personal data are processed on the legal grounds of establishing or performing a contract, compliance with legal obligations, establishment/exercise/protection of a right, legitimate interest, an express legal provision, and where necessary explicit consent. Disclosure, explicit consent and marketing permission are separate processes.

6. Collection Method and Transfer

Data may be collected through membership and payment screens, email, contact forms, support channels, cookies, server logs and analytics tools. To the extent necessary to provide the service, data may be shared with payment institutions, hosting/cloud/email/technology providers, accounting and legal advisers, and authorised public bodies. Where an international transfer is required, it is carried out under Article 9 of the KVKK and applicable legal mechanisms.

The platform may use cookies and similar technologies for session, security, preference, performance and analytics purposes. Preference management and consent mechanisms are used for non-essential cookies to the extent required.

8. Retention and Security

Data are retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and statutory retention periods, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Reasonable technical and organisational measures such as access authorisation, log management, secure connection, backups and administrative controls are applied.

9. Rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may learn whether your data are processed; request information; learn the purpose and transfers; request correction, deletion or destruction and notification; object to automated analysis; and request compensation if you suffer damage.
